Vivo Y38 5G: Specifications and Features
Vivo Y38 5G, a new smartphone from Vivo, has been listed online in Taiwan. Although the company hasn’t officially announced the launch, the listing provides insights into the device’s specifications and features.

Design and Display
The Vivo Y38 5G features a large circular camera module on the back, housing two sensors and an LED flash unit. The module is positioned in the top left corner of the rear panel. The front display boasts slim bezels and a centered hole-punch slot for the 8-megapixel front camera sensor. The phone is available in two color options: Dark Green Black and Ocean Blue.
The device sports a 6.68-inch HD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 1,612 x 720 pixels. It supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and has a pixel density of 264ppi.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y38 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS2.2 onboard storage. Additionally, it supports storage expansion of up to 1TB via a microSD card.
Cameras
The dual rear camera system consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, accompanied by an LED flash. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The phone packs a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 44W wired fast charging. It also features dual SIM support and a dedicated microSD card slot. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, OTG, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. For security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Vivo Y38 5G is also rated IP64 for water and dust resistance.
Dimensions and Weight
The Dark Green Black variant measures 165.70 x 76.00 x 7.99mm, while the Ocean Blue version is slightly thicker at 8.09mm. All variants weigh 199g.
